The 55m events were a continuous display of intensity and action as sprinters and hurdlers ran in the prelims and semi-finals for a chance at competing in the finals. Despite the large number of heats coach Mike Johnson and his staff and team ran a smooth meet that ran ahead of schedule in both the boys and girls portion of the W/TFA Championships. The UW-Whitewater track and field team pushed a home Saturday meet to Sunday in order to staff the W/TFA Meet.

South Milwaukee Head Girls track Coach Stan Druckrey began coaching 44 years ago. The use of electornic devices to give instant feedback was only a vision in science fiction stories at that time. However things have changed dramatically as each meet seems to set a record in the number of iPads and smart phones that parents and coaches use to give immediate feedback.

Druckery was giving some coaching tips via video feedback to a young Wrightstown athlete. That athlete happened to be Druckrey's granddaughter Morgan Collins a sprinter and jumps athlete at Wrightstown.
