Head Coach: James Boyd has been teaching and coaching track and field at De Pere for 31 years with the last 5 years as head boys and girls track and field coach. Boyd is also the head boys and girls cross country coach.

Conference Schools: Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest, Manitowoc Lincoln, Notre Dame Academy, Pulaski, Sheboygan North, and Sheboygan South.

Left: Olivia Fabry at the 2016 WIAA State Meet. Fabry took 9th place with a vault of 11' 00. Her 2016 'PR' was 12' 00.00 at the 2016 Seymour Invite.
Fabry [2016], Matzke [2015, 2016], and Mirkes [2015, 2016] were runners on the Redbird 4x4 which posted Top 50 All-Time athlete marks of 3:57.35 in 2015 and 3:55.26 in 2016.
John Opichka, Bill Swiekatowski, Ryan Fabry, and Don Penza have helped coach the vaulters at the club. Opichka's daughter Shaelyn and Fabry's daughter Olivia are Top 50 All-Time Athletes in the PV and Swiekatowski's daughter Kylie is the D1 PV Record Holder and a Top 50 All-Time Athlete in the PV.
Don Penza [left] is a school liason police officer at Ashwaubenon High School and has coached State Champion vault athletes at Ashwaubenon and De Pere.
Vaulters from all over the state have jumped at the AP Vaulting Club. All levels are welcomed, beginner to collegiate.
Vaulters practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday nights in the off-season


Boyd is shown on the left with Don Penza who coaches the vaulters at De Pere. Athletes benefitted from a large staff of coaches when they split up into their skill groups.
