Monroe senior Jordan Hirsbrunner [above] had a memorable Kansas Relay experience. She won the Gold Medal in the 300m LH event by posting a 43.77. She is the defending D2 Champion [43.94 in 2016] in that event. Hirsbrunner is shown above left sprinting to the finish line with second place finisher [gold jersey] Jaiden Wiley. Wiley is a ninth grader from Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri. Wiley had a 44.11.

Hirsbrunner's time in the 300m LH event will move her up on the Top 50 All-Time list in that event.

Wisconsin D3 athlete Emma Lawrence a junior from Benton-Scales Mound-Shullsburg finished 8th [47.21] in the 300m LH event at the Kansas Relays. Lawrence has the top time in that event on the D3 Honor Roll as of April 23.

Above left: Hirsbrunner won 3 medals at the Kansas Relays. Above right: In order to participate in the New Balance Outdoor Championships in the Javelin event Hirsbrunner needed a qualify mark in the Javelin.

Hirsbrunner has been a 4 year qualifier at the Kansas Relays winning 4 medals during that span. She has been an 11 event qualifier with one individual championship, the 300m LH in 2017.



Jordan Hirsbriunner finished in 9th place in the HJ [5' 02]. Carlie Queen of Summit Christian Academy HS of Missouri won with a height of 5' 10.


Above and below 100m HH finals

Jordan Hirsbrunner [#7] finished 7th in the 100m HH finals with a time of 15.25. Jaiden Wiley [above #6] was 2nd in 14.73 while Khristen Bryant [#1485] from Columbia Independent School of Missouri was 3rd in 14.76.

Hirsbrunner was .01 seconds off the Monroe school record in the 100m HH event.

Jewell Bolden [#5 below left] from Andover Central High School of Kansas was the Champion in the 100m HH with a time of 14.59.
