Ashwaubenon's Erin Dunning To Attend The University of Minnesota

Erin Dunning has signed a NLI to compete for the Gophers of the University of Minnesota

Ashwaubenon, WI – November 15, 2016– Erin Dunning and Tannor Wagner, seniors at Ashwaubenon High School, have each signed a National Letter of Intent. Dunning signed with the University of Minnesota while Wagner signed with the University of Wisconsin.
Dunning is receiving a scholarship to compete in track and field at the University of Minnesota. She is the reigning Division 1 WIAA State Champion in the Shot Put and a WIAA medal winner in the Discus.

In addition, she was the runner-up in the shot put at the 2015 WIAA track and field meet and the State indoor champion in the shot put 2015. She is the school record holder in both events. Erin was also recently named 2nd team all-conference in FRCC volleyball.

Her cumulative GPA at Ashwaubenon High School is a 3.942. “Erin is an outstanding student-athlete. She has set the standard of what it takes to be an exceptional student and an exceptional athlete. I couldn’t be more proud of any of our student-athletes at AHS,” said Nick Senger, AD/AP at AHS.
