2016 Big '8' Conference Meet: Runner on 3rd place 4x800m. 2nd team All-Conference for Cross Country.

2017 Big '8' Conference Meet: Champion in the 800m and 2nd in the 1600m. 1st Team All-Conference for Cross Country.

2018 Big '8' Conference Meet: 3rd in the 3200m and 4th in the 1600m. At the Big '8 Conference XC Meet at Verona helped her team to a conference Championship with a 4th place finish. Also, was selected to the 1st Team 2018 All-Conference Big '8' Cross Country Team.

2016 WIAA State Meet: WIAA State Meet: Alternate on 4x800m relay. 72nd at the WIAA D1 State XC Meet. Sun Prairie was the team champion.

2017 WIAA State Meet: W/TFA Indoor State Meet: 1st place 1600m. WIAA Regional Meet: 1st place 4x800m, 1st place 1600m. WIAA Sectional Meet: 1st place 4x800m, 2nd place 1600m. WIAA State Meet: 8th place 1600m and runner on 6th place 4x800m. Second Team All-Area 1600m. 4th place at XC Sectional, 24th at the WIAA State D1 XC Meet helping the Cardinals win the Team Championship. Honored as a 2nd team member of the All-State XC team.

2018 WIAA State Meet: W/TFA Indoor State Meet: 2nd place 1600m. WIAA Regional Meet: 2nd place 1600m and 3200m, WIAA Sectional Meet: 3rd place 1600m, 4th place 3200m, Honorable Mention All-Area 1600m and 3200m, 16th in the 1600m at the WIAA State Meet. Helped the Cardinals win the WIAA Track and Field Regional and Sectional meets. In XC helped her team win the Kettle Moraine Sectional title by finishing 2nd in the 78 runner field. At the State Meet Thompson finished 13th [9th in team rank]helping the Cardinals win 2nd place in the team standings.

Maddie Thompson has signed a NLI to attend the University of Minnesota to run both track and cross country. She was the first commit of the 2019 group for the Gophers.
