Rogowski also set a CWC Large Conference Record in the 100m breaking the old record of 12.61 [Maddy Pietz, 2018] with a time of 12.55. Weyauwega-Fremont junior Abby Bartel [800, 1600, 3200] was a triple winner. Shiocton sophomore Kendall Stingle won both hurdle events as well as anchoring the winning 4x2 relay. The day was blistering hot with temperatures in the mid 90's [it was already in the 80's by the start of the meet] but the athletes competed well despite the weather and having to run preliminaries.

3200m Run
Head coach Mike Trzebiatowski from Rosholt was in constant motion during the meet. He used a portable 'mike' to announce events, give play by play naratives of each race, and prompt meet personal to what to expect. Because of the extreme temperatures the 3200m race was moved to the first event at 10 AM. In addition Coach Trzebiatowski used a spray hose to give the runners a water mist shower on each lap. At first the runners seemed unsure of that but by lap 3 of the 3200m the shower was a welcome event on each lap. Starting temperatures at 10 AM were above 80. Triple winner [800, 1600, 3200] Abby Bartel is shown at the start and mid-race. She won the 32 in 11:58.37 and the 800m in 2:27.32. The last time Wisconsin Track Online was at the Rosholt track it was snowing. Today was quite a difference.
