Sauk Prairie outpointed Whitewater 59 to 55 to win the 23 team small-medium school Nelson - Daniels Classic held at the Kachel Field House on the campus of UW-Whitewater.
Becca Buchholtz a senior from East Troy who is a Michigan State recruit won the HJ and TJ events [5' 03, 34' 10.50]. Buchholtz is pictured on the right and left.


Below left: Clinton's Emily Buchanan placed third [5' 01]. Sauk Prairie high jumper Chantel McConville [below and below right] placed second with a jump of 5' 03.00.




Mauston's Keely Rubash [L] won the PV [9' 03.00]. Chantel McConville [above second from left] from Sauk Prairie also vaulted 9' 03 to place third. Edgerton's Shea Sweeney [above and above right] placed second with a height of 9' 03.

Becca Buchholtz is pictured above in the TJ [above left] and LJ [above] events. Buchholtz placed first in the 2007 WIAA State Meet in the HJ [State D2 record] and TJ and won the silver medal in the LJ. Jenny Pietkauskis is pictured in the LJ trials. Long jump meet first place winner was Megan Theune of Whitewater [16' 01.25]. Caroline Grassl of Waunakee placed second [16' 00.50].
