Cathryn Helmers a senior from D1 Holmen has qualified for the State Meet in 2006 [4x4 relay], 2007 [4x4 relay, 400m] and 2008 [400m]. This season she has shown steady improvement in the 400m event. She won the 400m at the Fredrickson Invitational held at Arcadia High School on Tuesday, May 12 with a time of 57.90, This moved her into the top 5 of the HR 400m D1-D3 list. Versatility Is The Name Of The Game For Hill And Allen
During the 2008 season Onalaska runner Jami Hill made her mark in the middle and longer distance races. The Michigan recruit displayed her versatility on May 12 at the Onalaska Triangular by posting a 57.4 [HHT] in winning the 400m dash event. Also, Hill is part of the Onalaska record threatening 4x8 relay team which recorded a 9:13.97 on May 8th at the Hanson Relays held at La Crosse Central.


Tasha Allen from Milwaukee North set records in the D2 100m and 200m dash events at the 2008 WIAA State Meet. This year as a D1 athlete she has also moved to the 400m dash event in which her time of 55.85 recorded at the Myrhum Invitational at Arrowhead High School on Friday, May 8th moved her to the top of the HR 400m Week 9 list.
