2009 W/TFA State Indoor Championships: Field Events

Katie Langmeier [L] a Cuba City junior who was second in the D3 HJ at La Crosse in 2008 won with a jump of 5' 05.

Emily Worden [above] a State Meet veteran won the LJ [18' 00.00]. Worden is pictured below in a jump from the 2008 season.

Jecel Gerner [L] a senior thrower from D3 Markesan placed 2nd in the discus and 3rd in the SP at the 2008 State Meet. She was the 2009 W/TFA SP Indoor Champion with a throw of 43' 00.00. Gerner is also pictured [far left].

Senior Shalesa Smith [L] of Milwaukee Rufus King is shown in the long jump competition. Smith long jumped 17' 00.00 which was good for third place. In the triple jump Smith jumped 38' 00.25 to win that event and maintain her number 1 ranking in the TJ HR list.
