Three of the Gold Medal winning relays from 2012 return all runners for the 2013 season. The Milwaukee Rufus King 4x1 [From top left clockwise: Marissa Cosey, Sydnee Matthew, Alexis Redd-Triggs, and Jaia Howard], the Tigers from Milwaukee Riverside 4x4 [From top left clockwise: Valerie Thames, Chrstal Malone, Angel Malone, and Helen Thames], and the Neenah 4x8 [From top left clockwise: Alison Parker, Claire Knaus, Jessica Parker, and Jennifer Parker] return to defend their titles.
D1 Track and Field athletes who return to defend their individual championships are L-R from center: Crystal Malone [400m dash, Milwaukee Riverside], Alex Flucke [PV, Ashwaubenon], Kanesha Freiberg [LJ, Madison La Follette], Stefani Friedenfels [TJ, Menomonie], and Corinne Franz [Discus, Madison Memorial].
The Milwaukee Riverside 4x4, Neenah's 4x8, and Alex Flucke all set D1 Records at the 2012 State Meet. In addition Riverside and Neenah are now #1 on the All-Time 4x4 and 4x8 Top 50 lists.
