Former Merrill head girls Coach Greg Eichelkraut has helped with Honor Roll results since the 1990's. Those interested in the history of the Honor Roll can view an early copy from 1993 that Greg sent. The '93 Honor Roll was compiled by Jack Rauwerdink from Oostburg.
Coach Eichelkraut also provided a video record of a Top 50 performance in the Triole Jump made by Jamie Rebella a former standout in track and field at Merrill.
Jamie competed at Merrill from 1998 to 2001. As a ninth grader Rebella triple jumped 39' 03.25 at the sectional held at DC Everest high school on May 28, 1998. This mark is now the 6th best TJ on the Top 50 lists.
Jamie is pictured on the left at the 2000 Monona Grove Girls Invitational.
At the State Meet she won Gold Medals in 1998 [Long Jump], 1999 [Triple Jump], 2000 [Triple Jump], and 2001 [Triple Jump].
