The Wisconsin Track Coaches Association (WISTCA) welcomed nine members to its Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2020. Also recognized were the 2020 WISTCA Service Award, Merit Award, and the Officials Merit Award.The WISTCA Hall of Fame began with its inaugural class in 1990 and has enshrined more than 150 athletes and more than 50 coaches. All inductees can be found at the WISTCA website.

WISTCA HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2020: Male athletes Matt Fisher [Green Bay East], Joe Thomas [Brookfield Central], and Greg Bracey [Milwaukee Vincent], female athletes Jayme Dittmar [ Wausau East], Laura Massey [Lancaster], and Jean Schleusener [Tomah], coaches Charles Kahle [Milwaukee East [Riverside], Rob Serres [Platteville], and Chuck Walek [Whitehall]. Also honored were Dennis Meyer [Service Award], Sean Gavigan [Merit Award], and Dick Nerbun [Officials Merit Award].

In addition to the Hall of Fame class, WISTCA honored the 2019 boys and girls Athletes of the Year (as selected by the WISTCA Executive Committee), along with boys and girls District Coaches of the Year (as voted on by their colleagues).

Former Lancaster athlete Laura Massey was a State Champion in the Pole Vault [2002, 2003]. She competed for the Gophers of the University of Minnesota [2004-2009]. Massey was the Big 10 Champion in the pole vault in 2006.

1986-A: Shot Put Jean Schleusener Tomah 42.25

Schleusener had set the SP School record in 1986 with a thorw of 42' 02.75. However Julie Beck's thorw of 47' 05.50 in 1990 set the Tomah school record and in 2007 Jessa Luebke moved to #2 with a throw of 43' 01.50. Schleusener is now #3.

WIAA Discus Champion

1986-A: Discus Jean Schleusener Tomah 135-00

In 1986 Schleusener had set the Tomah school record in the discus with a distance of 140' 11. However in 1990 Julie Beck moved to #1 on the Tomah school record list with a throw of 160' 10 at the Mississippi Valley Conference Meet. Schleusener is now #2 on the Tomah Discus School Record list.
